Full Job Description

Reporting to the Director of Operational Finance, you will provide administrative and business support to the Director of Operational Finance, Director of Commercial Finance and Senior Finance managers including project support, presentations, meeting management and cross functional communication, along with work within the Finance leadership team including data analysis, project support and a range of finance activities as required. Calendar Management: Scheduling appointments, meetings, preparing agendas, taking meeting minutes, and following up on action items and events for the Director of Operational Finance, Director of Commercial Finance and where necessary the Senior Finance managers - ensuring that calendars are up-to-date and organized. Task and Project Management: Assisting with task and project management by tracking deadlines on behalf of the Director of Operational Finance and Director of Commercial Finance and the Senior Finance management team, coordinating activities, and ensuring that projects progress smoothly and all key deadlines are adhered too, including relevant adhoc data analysis. Planning and Coordination: Assisting in the planning and coordination of events & conferences, workshops, and other meetings, including venue selection, catering, and logistics. Travel Arrangements: Making travel arrangements such as booking flights, accommodation, and transportation for business trips, and preparing travel itineraries. Manage expenses & other admin tasks where necessary for the Director of Operational Finance and Director of Commercial Finance. Relationship Building: Build and maintain positive relationships with colleagues, and other cross functional stakeholders. Actively work on own development: focusing and agreeing key quarterly objectives with Line Manager - reviewed and discussed during 1 to 1s and quarterly check ins. General: Ensure all standard operating procedures are complete and updated annually. Ensure compliance with Group Financial Reporting Manual and Screwfix internal controls. Identify process improvement opportunities as part of Screwfix Smart Working.   • Strong administration skills with diary management experience.
