Full Job Description

The Rosary Catholic School is a popular school with enthusiastic, well-motivated and hardworking staff and pupils, part of St Teresa of Calcutta MAC. The Headteacher and Governors wish to appoint an exceptionally well-organised and experienced Finance and HR Manager to an exciting new position delivering effective school administration, including finance, human resources, Health and Safety, and facilities management. This role will be based at The Rosary School but involves working closely with the central MAC team and colleagues across other MAC schools. At The Rosary Catholic School we pride ourselves on placing the children at the centre of all that we do. We are looking for an individual, to join our team, who is passionate about the crucial role they will play in supporting the education of our young people, enabling them to reach their potential in both their academic and personal achievements.

This is a varied role where no two days are the same, it is essential therefore that the successful candidate must be able to work under pressure, have a high level of personal drive, energy and resilience. The successful candidate will need to possess excellent communication skills and will need to respond effectively to changing priorities, using their initiative as well as having excellent organisation skills. Confidentiality and professionalism are key attributes for this role. The successful candidate will have a flexible approach to work and will be prepared to undertake a wide range of duties as typical within a busy school office. This post is covered by Part 7 of the Immigration Act (2016). Therefore the ability to speak fluent and spoken English is an essential requirement for this role.
