- Communicating when required with key stakeholders with the UK business & Group to ensure all aspects of the accounts are complete.
- Continuously reviewing processes ensuring they are as efficient as possible.
- Analysing and interpreting large data sets from multiple sources in differing formats
- Management of part qualified accountants on specific activities such as balance sheet reporting.
- Co-ordinating external audit being a key point of contact between the business and the auditors.
- Preparing ad-hoc reports analysis for internal and external stakeholders
- Keeping up to date with current changes to international accounting standards to ensure accurate reporting within key financial statements, providing technical support to sector colleagues on a wide range of accounting matters.
Qualified in ACA, CIMA, ACCA (or equivalent) - Highly numerical and analytical
- Able to communicate oral and written information concisely and logically
- Able to analyse and evaluate information
- Have excellent interpersonal skills with proven ability to influence internal and external parties
- Able to effectively plan and organise own work
- Able to take on a broad spectrum of work under pressure and to deliver in agreed timescales
- Up to date on current and planned changes to international accounting standards
- Experienced in SAP/Cognos (desirable)

We have an exciting opportunity to join our financial accounting and reporting team as a Finance Manager overseeing Fixed Asset and IFRS16 requirements for the UK business. The teams purpose is to ensure all monthly reporting into the centralised group function is accurate and timely, lead the external audit process to appropriate sign-off (interim and year end), complete the statutory accounts in accordance with international accounting standards and maintain and review the integrity of the balance sheet.
As Finance Manager you will be responsible for UK&I group reporting on a monthly basis, assisting with consolidated P&L and balance sheet budget and forecasting in addition to managing intercompany process with multiple stakeholders within the group. You will also be responsible for:
