Full Job Description

  • Oversee the financial management of the company, including accurate and timely financial reporting.

  • Prepare and analyse financial statements, including monthly, quarterly, and annual reports.

  • Manage the budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes, ensuring alignment with project goals.

  • Ensure compliance with all relevant financial regulations and company policies.

  • Collaborate with project managers to monitor project costs, manage budgets, and ensure profitability.

  • Provide financial insights and recommendations to support decision-making at both the project and corporate levels.

  • Lead and mentor the finance team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

  • Manage relationships with external auditors, banks, and other financial institutions.

  • Develop and maintain robust internal financial controls.

  • Monitor cash flow, manage working capital, and oversee financial risk management.

    Professional qualification (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CIMA) or equivalent.

  • Extensive experience in a finance management role within the M&E contracting or construction industry.

  • In-depth knowledge of contract accounting, project costing, and financial management within the constrcution sector.

  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and develop a finance team.

  • Proficiency in financial software and advanced MS Excel skills.

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence at all levels.

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities., Experience in financial accounting in the construction industry


  • Experience:
  • Financial management: 3 years (preferred)

  • Financial accounting: 5 years (preferred)

    Pay: £49,000.00-£55,000.00 per year
