Full Job Description

Queensbridge School is looking to recruit a Finance Manager with a professional qualification in finance, or a related field. You will manage the school's financial operations effectively, ensuring compliance with statutory requirements and best practices You will prepare and monitor the school budgets and forecasts. The successful candidate will work with the School Business Manager with the strategic planning of the school finances to ensure that the school maximises the resources available and secure value for money for resourcing, goods and services it procures. You will also lead on regulatory and financial compliances as well as ensuring tight budgetary controls and reporting are met.,

  • work with and support the School Business Manager
  • monitor school budgets and forecasts, assist the SBM with budget preparation
  • day to day running of the finance function including managing the Finance Assistant
  • oversee school lettings
  • work with the site team to manage the financial aspects of contracts and projects
  • ensure compliance with finance procedures and regulations

    experience in a finance role including budget preparation
