Description: Talent Guardian is partnering with an international product-based brand to appoint a Finance Manager. With its DNA in the wholesale market, the brand has experienced year-on-year growth in its consumer-facing channels, driving significant evolution in its business model. Over the past few years, it has transformed into a true multi-channel player, advancing its distribution, systems, and people to successfully navigate this phase of growth.,
- Support the delivery of the overall business strategy and objectives.
- Develop a rolling 3-year business plan, annual budgets, and forecasts.
- Provide timely cashflow forecasting (annual, monthly, weekly).
- Manage all annual financial reporting and audit requirements, ensuring statutory deadlines are met.
- Create and execute margin, channel, and category strategies.
- Lead digital transformation projects, including business intelligence, debt management tools, digital returns, and product lifecycle management.
- Implement robust internal controls and streamline processes for accurate and timely reporting.
- Oversee relationships with auditors, HMRC, banks, and other stakeholders.
- Negotiate and manage debt/financing facilities in line with growth targets.
- Review and optimise legal contracts to ensure compliance and mitigate risks.
- Supervise compliance tasks and oversee monthly payroll and HR functions (outsourced).
- Lead team management, including direct reports and customer service oversight.
- Manage foreign exchange operations and ensure best practices.
The Finance Manager will lead the organisation s Finance and Credit functions while driving key transformation projects. This role requires a proactive individual with strategic insight to optimise processes, ensure compliance, and contribute to business growth. Success in this position will demand strong collaboration, adaptability, and the ability to manage both hands-on and high-level responsibilities., Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, ACMA, or equivalent). - Proven experience in high-volume e-commerce B2C and B2B industries.
- Strong knowledge of ERP systems, ideally with implementation experience.
- Advanced Microsoft Office and Excel reporting skills.
- Familiarity with digital transformation projects such as:
- Business intelligence integration.
- Debt management tools.
- Digital returns management.
- Product lifecycle management. Technical expertise in accounting, compliance, and legal frameworks. Experience with cross-border trade and regulatory requirements. Flexibility to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced business environment. Current Systems:
