easyJet are currently on the look out for a Finance Manager to join our evolving operations finance team, specifically partnering the Cabin Crew stakeholders. TEAM
This is a really exciting opportunity working as a key member of the Operations Finance team, reporting into the Senior Finance Manager for Crew, providing financial ownership for Cabin Crew costs. This role also sits within the wider Operations Team and is a key business partnering role., Purpose of this role is to be the end-to-end finance contact for Cabin Crew costs and provide complete financial management and ownership for this area.
The role provides a business partnership between the key stakeholders and the financial performance of easyJet, key stakeholders include Cabin Services, Ops Planning and Industrial Relations.
This role leads the long-term planning processes for Cabin Crew costs, including Budget, Outlook and the long-term plan
Support delivery of key strategic objectives for Cabin Crew, including
o Operational resilience
o Crew productivity
o Competitive pay deals
o EDGE initiatives
o Winter profitability
This includes month end deliverables, Strategic and Annual planning, forecasts, projects and providing insightful analysis for the business.
The role provides both current (actuals) and future performance analysis and gives guidance on Forecasts, Budgets and 5yr plans.
The role drives and monitors the cost saving initiatives that form part of the overall strategic plan.
JOB ACCOUNTABILITIES
Business Partnering:
Provides a true Business Partner framework to all Cabin Crew stakeholders, ensuring that the business owners are always supported with the right insight and information. Strong business partnering with cross functional stakeholders including wider finance team, Operations & Commercial teams to ensure seamless communication and integrity of results and forecasts.
Financial Management:
Budget and Outlook for Cabin Crew
Report and identify opportunities to improve Cabin Crew productivity
Provide financial support to future Cabin Crew pay deal negotiations
Identify opportunities to drive improvements to Winter profitability
Supporting the EDGE programme
Monthly Re-forecasting
Business case evaluation and decision advice
Ad-hoc projects
Business Performance and Analytical support:
Ownership for monthly detailed analysis and insight into the costs, which can be used to drive business performance and improve the cost base
Responsibility for accurate monthly forecasting into consolidated PBT model and review of cash flow forecasts
Driving confidence in numbers and providing insight into risks and opportunities
Driving continuous improvements in the operational and finance processes
Leads the team in developing a good understanding of all Cabin Crew costs
Contribute to budget process and pack for Cabin Crew costs detailing variances by country for presentation to senior management and for procurement.
Provides financial evaluation and acts as lead decision support finance manager for ad-hoc projects and cost saving initiatives

Financial Accounting & control:
Support the month end reporting process and providing analysis detailing variances to plan and prior year and tracking the effectiveness of cost saving initiatives for Cabin Crew.
People Leadership, Relationships and Influence
As a member of the Core Finance team, the Finance Manager Crew (Cabin Crew) has responsibility for
Maintaining effective cross functional relationships.
Providing subject matter expertise to a diverse and demanding set of stakeholders.
Managing and mentoring junior members of the team
Managing one direct report and responsibility for their development, retention and talent
Qualifications
KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS & FINANCIAL TARGETS
Support delivery of Cost per Seat (CPS) maintained at broadly flat and delivered to budget.
Month End insight and budget variance analysis completed on time and with accuracy and clear explanations of movements.
Report and identify opportunities to improve Cabin Crew productivity
Deliver key insight into performance of costs for Cabin Crew and ensure latest view is reflected in the rolling forecast.
Support easyJet strategic projects to track benefits delivery.
To deliver the business initiatives for each area of responsibility.
Support the development of in year and pipeline cost initiatives with Airport development

Qualified accountant with at least 3 years post qualified experience
Ability to embrace large, complex, preferably fast moving, entities.
Excellent analytical skills with an ability to demonstrate an excellent grasp of variance analysis and the key drivers.
Manage own time across variety of tasks and projects to deliver to deadlines
Ability to deliver the level of detail and insight required to support the procurement and ground operations team
Able to communicate and challenge effectively with key stakeholders at all seniority levels in the organisation.
Able to demonstrate the commercial value of Finance projects
Ability to explain finance to non-financial stakeholders
A proactive team player.
An ability to work on own initiative, and has the confidence to offer solutions.
A true self starter, with high levels of motivation and enthusiasm.
Excellent excel skills (up to basic macros) and TM1 experience preferred.

This full time role will be hybrid working, for 60% of your working month, based in Luton and will be 40 hours per week.
