Full Job Description

  • Keep bookkeeping and financial records sharp, manage accounts receivable, and track expenses with precision (e.g. Xero or similar)
  • Provide weekly support for accounts receivable by monitoring outstanding invoices, reconciling payments, following up with sales reps and clients, and preparing AR performance reports.
  • Liaise with external parties and internal colleagues (e.g., legal, payroll providers, regulatory bodies) to ensure compliance with all relevant HR regulations and standards.
  • Ensure accuracy and stay ahead of regulations.
  • Support reviews, guide development goals, and power recruitment efforts.
  • Assist in the yearly review process by coordinating timelines, gathering relevant data, and
  • providing insights into market salary averages and benchmarking.
  • Support recruitment efforts by sourcing candidates, coordinating interviews, managing
  • communications, and maintaining up-to-date recruitment trackers.

  • Previous experience in finance admin, finance assistant roles.
  • Understanding of bookkeeping and financial processes.
  • Knowledge of payroll processes, HR compliance requirements.
  • Excellent organisational and multitasking skills.
  • Exceptional communication skills and ability to work collaboratively across teams.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
  • Experience in recruitment and talent management is a plus.

  • This is a hybrid role that combines the best of Finance Operations and Human Resources which could be a great career path to Operations Director and beyond. This is an ideal role for someone looking to make a move from a small company to another small, yet rapidly growing company. You will be resourceful across finance, bookkeeping and HR responsibilities. The role is 60% finance and 40% HR duties.

    In return you will receive a salary of up to 50,000 plus excellent benefits.
