Full Job Description

Acorns Children's Hospice are now seeking a Finance Officer to be an integral part of the Finance Team, with responsibility for all aspects of purchase ledger, sales ledger and bank reconciliations, Reconcile all banking transactions, importing information into the Finance system (IRIS Financials)
Collate purchase invoices, credit notes, delivery notes and purchase orders for input into the ledger system
Manage payment runs, minimising payments outside of main runs
Liaise with the Transactions Manager, so the relationship with aged debtors and creditors is optimised
Answer supplier queries and manage the email inbox, As a UNICEF Gold Rights Respecting organisation, we are committed to ensuring that the United Nations Convention for the Rights of the Child is embedded into both culture and practice within the organisation. Experience in all aspects of purchase ledger, sales ledger, bank and cash reconciliations
Ability to organise own workload
Meticulous and methodical
Working knowledge of accounting software packages

£23,000 to £28,000 per annum
37 hours per week
