Full Job Description
The role has a focus on the completeness and accuracy of the financial data held in the ledger and is key to supporting the Senior Finance Officer and Finance Manager to prepare the monthly management and annual statutory accounts and report timely and accurate information. The role will help to provide strategic financial support to the Group to enable it to meet its strategic priorities., The Finance Officer will also provide an excellent service to the department's customers with the provision of financial information and support, including but not limited to, assisting with decision making and achievement of operational targets.
The ideal candidate will have experience of general ledger work within a large company, along with a practical understanding of management accounting principles and techniques. The ideal candidate should also be able to demonstrate experience of managing a challenging workload in a busy environment to meet all deadlines, as well as excellent customer service. Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel is essential.
