Our Finance and Operations team in the Forensic and Valuation Services Stream contributes to our success by supporting our fee earning team. Joining this team, you'll enjoy a friendly, supportive environment with plenty of variety and have daily interactions with colleagues from diverse educational and ethnic backgrounds and varied skillsets. In this role you will help to provide an efficient, effective, and professional Finance and Operations support service to the team, reporting to our Finance Manager.

Responsibilities:

  • The range of duties that you may be required to perform are varied and you will need to be agile to the requirements of the team.

  • Reporting to the Stream Finance Manager, tasks include a range of duties such as:

  • + Billing including foreign currency billing; WIP adjustments; closing bills;
    + Supplier invoice coding and finance system administration;
    + Workday support (preferably a Workday Superuser) including timecard administration (Timekeeper);
    + Overtime & TOIL administration;
    + New joiner and leaver administration, including IT liaison;
    + Maternity leave administration;
    + Instant and quarterly awards administration (Recognition Coordinator);
    + Qualified DSE/EMRA/NMRA Assessor preferred;

  • Provision of an exceptional internal client experience and support initiatives within the firm, as well as being responsive and helping to create a positive impression at all touch points.

    Previous experience of financial systems

  • A background in a professional services environment (strongly preferred)

  • Good clear communication skills, as you will deal with a large variety of individuals within a national team

  • Good knowledge of Microsoft, especially Excel

  • Positive and open attitude with a willingness to escalate issues as appropriate

  • Strong organisational skills

  • Attention to detail and the confidence to challenge where appropriate
