Create Solutions that will enable a better tomorrow To cover a maternity period, we are looking for a Finance & Payroll Controller to join us. Working within our accounting and finance team, you'll ensure compliance with UK accounting standards and internal policies while challenging key technical financial decisions and providing insightful advice and analysis.
Your key responsibilities will be:

Support business with financial and operational issues, analysing financial information continuously.
Deliver accurate and timely information to Group Finance and the UK Business.
Monitor financial data control and compliance, ensuring accurate financial reporting.
Own the monthly closure submission process, ensuring accurate month-end submissions and reconciliations.
Coordinate monthly payroll processes, including pension payments using Sage.
Play a key role during statutory audits, including producing audit documentation and delegating tasks.
Coordinate annual rates review across the UK business, ensuring accurate application.
Assist with finance management of UK Group subsidiaries and associated companies as needed.

Do you want to be part of a global finance team? Can you build relations within a multi-national team? Are you an experienced financial controller? Then, read on, this could be the perfect opportunity for you., Preferably an accounting qualification (CIMA, ACA, ACCA, or equivalent)
Extensive experience as a Financial Controller
Proven experience in managing payroll functions
Proficiency with SAGE payroll system (preferred)
Hands-on annual audit experience
Strong bookkeeping skills
Advanced Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel
Excellent communication skills for liaising with stakeholders at all levels
