Full Job Description
We are looking for a talented Financial Analyst -to join our team specializing in Finance for our Global PGM Finance Department in Daventry, Northamptonshire/ Sandwich, Canterbury, United Kingdom In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:
- Delivering Accurate FP&A Activities: Ensure timely and accurate financial planning and analysis (FP&A) for the PGM, supporting monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting.
- Supporting Strategic Planning: Provide high-quality data inputs for the Annual Operating Plan (AOP) and business simulations during strategy weeks, particularly for the Europe region.
- Ensuring Financial Accuracy: Execute PROF reconciliations and journal entry uploads accurately for the Europe region, ensuring data integrity and compliance.
- Managing Expenses: Take full responsibility for SAR/Managed Expenses reporting for the EMEIA region, ensuring precise financial tracking and reporting.
- Business Partnering: Collaborate with assigned verticals, delivering insightful analysis and supporting demand reviews, forecasts, and financial strategies, mainly focusing on the Greater Europe region.
- Overseeing Month-End Close: Independently manage the month-end close process, ensuring accurate and timely submissions for Greater Europe business centers.
- Driving Process Improvements: Actively participate in implementing system changes and process improvements, leveraging tools like Excel, Thunder, Essbase, and Power BI.
- Supporting Financial Reporting and Audits: Assist with Power BI reporting for P&Ls, cost measures, and KPIs, and provide necessary data for DAV plant audits, ensuring compliance and transparency., To be successful in this role you will need the following
Strong Financial Knowledge: In-depth understanding of US Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), financial analysis, and reporting to ensure accurate and compliant financial activities. - Action-Oriented and Agile: High energy, urgency, and the ability to quickly understand expectations and deliver accurate results in a fast-paced environment.
- Effective Communication and Collaboration: Ability to communicate clearly and build strong partnerships across various functions, such as IT, Sales, Marketing, and Operations.
- Continuous Improvement and Self-Development: Commitment to optimizing work processes and actively seeking opportunities for growth and development, both formally and informally., College, university, or equivalent degree in Finance, Accounting or related field required.
- Minimal relevant professional work experience in the field of study required.
