Financial & Capital Accountant

East Sussex Healthcare Trust are looking for a strong technical accountant who works well within a team and has a track record of delivery to timetables. You will be a self-motivated, pro-active individual with strong time management and organisational skills. You will have excellent technical, communication and influencing skills.
This post requires hybrid working, there is a requirement to attend the office, which can be discussed at interview., The Financial & Capital Accountant will be responsible for ensuring the Trust's financial accounting is accurate and compliant with all statutory requirements, through monitoring and maintaining key financial controls over the Trust's balance sheet, supported by a team of three. The role also provides both routine and ad hoc financial analysis of capital spend and charitable funds accounts., + The healthcare provider of first choice for the people of East Sussex.

An advanced level of IT skills, both on integrated finance systems and MS Office, are required.
A formal accountancy qualification and recent experience of financial accounting within a large complex organisation are essential.
