Financial Controller

Oversight responsibility for the preparation of the monthly management accounts for all group companies

- Responsibility for the timely bi-monthly payments for suppliers and employees for all group companies

- Management of the intercompany reconciliations and settlement of positions between all group companies

- Development and documentation of business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls

- Development and management of other members of the Praesto finance department

- Collaboration with external auditors during annual statutory audits, both in the UK and overseas

- Ensuring compliance with financial regulations and standards globally

- Providing financial insights and recommendations to improve financial performance

- Support the CFO in financial management tasks as required

Proven experience as a Financial Controller or similar role

- Managerial skills, having previously managed finance team staff

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills

- Proficiency in financial management software (Ideally Business Central, but not essential)

- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment

- Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail

- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices
