Financial Controller

To manage and administrate all finance and accounting operations between the Companies existing software platforms, reporting to the Financial Director. Duties are to include but not limited to:

General Bookkeeping:

- To undertake bookkeeping duties for the Company and assist in the preparation of Monthly accounts.

Supplier Ledger:

- To take end-to-end responsibility for the Creditor Ledger.

- To manage the administration staff and ensure maximum productivity.

- To work with the Procurement Manager to manage the subcontractor labour and expenses.

Credit Control:

- To take responsibility for the set up and administration of Company sales through the existing software platforms.

- To ensure that the onboarding of Floor and Wall onto supply chains has been completed accurately to prevent payment delays

- To ensure at all times, minimal risk of delay to income.

- To refine existing processes and standardise recovery

- To present timely reports, to the FD, risk positions on income.

- To undertake initial credit control reviews at tender stage.

- To review the market information and prioritise recovery inline.

Creditor Ledger:

- To set up on the Company's existing software Customer accounts

- To create and set up projects including nominal defaults and itemised VAT on Construction Manager.

- Reconcile payments received from Sage back to source posting from Construct.

- To recover and maintain Debtor Retentions in a timely manner, reporting on aged debtors monthly.

Subcontractor Labour:

- Process Invoicing & payment confirmations.

- Reconciliation of transactions between the Company's accountancy software

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: From £39,500.00 per year
