Full Job Description

As Financial Controller, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the financial strategy of the school, ensuring robust financial management, compliance, and long-term sustainability. You will lead the budgeting process, provide financial forecasts, manage cash flow, and deliver timely financial reports to the senior leadership team and Board of Trustees. You'll also have the opportunity to influence strategic decision-making, support key projects, and lead a dedicated finance team.

We are looking for a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent) with at least 5 years of experience in financial management. Ideally, you will have experience within the education or non-profit sectors, strong people management skills, and a keen eye for detail.

This is a permanent position offered on a full time, all year-round basis. We welcome candidates to discuss hybrid and flexible working arrangements with us. Working hours are from Monday to Friday from 8.30am to 5.00pm.

Salary: circa £55k - £58k per annum
