Full Job Description
- Manage and control business accounts
- Ensuring P&L, cash, expenditure, revenue and all tax matters are correctly controlled and reported on, both within the local business and aligned with Group requirements,
- Supporting the Managing Director with business financial performance, forecasting and analysis as a key member of the management team.
- Process customer invoices, answer queries & chase debt
- Financial KPI control
- Project and contract accounting, with support to Operational teams
- Budgeting preparation and management
- Local payroll and banking administration, aligned to Group
- Cost control
- Ensure compliance with policies and procedures
- Assist other departments as and when required
Qualified accountant or equivalent accounting experience - Experience of managing SME accounts, as well as interfacing with Group Corporate functions.
- Highly competent in management accounting and project accounting principles and techniques
- Solid knowledge of standard accountancy and finance best practices
- Solid IT skills, including proficiency in the relevant accounting packages
- A strong understanding of taxation
- Strong analytical skills to effectively analyse and interpret financial reports
- In-depth knowledge of budgeting and financial forecasting
