Full Job Description

  • Manage and control business accounts
  • Ensuring P&L, cash, expenditure, revenue and all tax matters are correctly controlled and reported on, both within the local business and aligned with Group requirements,
  • Supporting the Managing Director with business financial performance, forecasting and analysis as a key member of the management team.
  • Process customer invoices, answer queries & chase debt
  • Financial KPI control
  • Project and contract accounting, with support to Operational teams
  • Budgeting preparation and management
  • Local payroll and banking administration, aligned to Group
  • Cost control
  • Ensure compliance with policies and procedures
  • Assist other departments as and when required

    Qualified accountant or equivalent accounting experience
  • Experience of managing SME accounts, as well as interfacing with Group Corporate functions.
  • Highly competent in management accounting and project accounting principles and techniques
  • Solid knowledge of standard accountancy and finance best practices
  • Solid IT skills, including proficiency in the relevant accounting packages
  • A strong understanding of taxation
  • Strong analytical skills to effectively analyse and interpret financial reports
  • In-depth knowledge of budgeting and financial forecasting
