Full Job Description

This is a one of a kind opportunity to join an incredible venue in leading a new finance team and establish long term processes for the biggest music and live entertainment arena in the UK. Whilst supporting the business by providing financial reporting to help shape, grow and develop the business.,

  • Develop and implement new finance processes and accounting systems to make us effective in supporting the operational events teams.
  • Lead on key stakeholder relationships to ensure we have slick and effective processes in place for Co-op Live and our partners.
  • You will work as a true business partner to senior leaders, challenging costs, highlighting risks and seeking opportunities to continually improve what we do and think outside the box.
  • Develop month end, event flash reporting and financial planning and analysis.
  • Produce month end management accounts and quarterly bank compliance reporting.
  • Manage balance sheet accounts and monthly reconciliations.
  • Manage accounts payable activities and accounts receivable activities ensuring accuracy and completed in a timely manner whilst managing working capital targets.
  • Work in partnership with our payroll provider to ensure our teams pay is accurate and timely.
  • To support on the creation and management of all ad hoc financial reporting including event day, Ticketmaster and CRM reporting.
  • Lead on the audit process working with the company auditors to ensure on time audit completion with full compliance.
  • Support and develop finance projects such as testing finance systems and other system interfaces and documenting processes.
  • To lead and manage a small finance team focused on financial performance management and accurate timely reporting.
  • To have a genuine passion for creating a planet friendly space, challenging the norm, driving positive change, and acting as an ambassador for change to help us reach out target of carbon neutral by 2038.

    Qualified accountant (ACA, CIMA, ACCA or equivalent)
  • Minimum of 4 years post qualified experience
  • Experience of management accounts, financial reporting and business planning
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Advanced Excel user with experience of creating and managing finance models
  • A leader, who can influence and inspire others

  • Results focused, driving exceptional results through your team and others
  • Strong relationship building experience
  • A team player who enjoys working in a high achieving environment
  • Desirable:
  • Understand entertainment/stadia/arena security and crowd management
  • Oracle net suite or Tipalti experience Experience of system user testing a process documentation.
