Full Job Description
ArcelorMittal Construction is seeking a highly skilled Financial Director to lead the financial management of our UK operations. This role involves overseeing two legal entities, ensuring accurate financial reporting, and supporting strategic business development.,
- Form and lead the financial organization in the UK for our 3 locations: Manchester, Birmingham, Glasgow
- Manage financial operations for AMC UK and Architectural Steel Limited.
- Oversee actuals, forecasts, and budget processes with local management.
- Coordinate tax-related matters with outsourcing partners.
- Act as a financial business partner to local site/business managers.
- Manage and develop a finance team.
- Implement and maintain a robust internal control framework.
- Ensure compliance with UK legal requirements.
- Continuously improve cash management and credit risk processes.
- Report on Capex, costs, and profitability per business/site.
- Implement a new accounting software.
- Coordinate internal and external audits. Deliverables & Performance KPIs:
- Timely financial closing (internal and group deadlines).
- Clean audit opinions.
Education: University degree in accounting, finance, applied economics, business, or engineering. - Experience: 6-15 years in finance, preferably in a complex industry and/or audit firm.
- IT Skills: Advanced proficiency in BPM and experience with accounting software implementation.
- Language Skills: Proficient in English - Native or C2 level. Key Competencies:
