Full Job Description

ArcelorMittal Construction is seeking a highly skilled Financial Director to lead the financial management of our UK operations. This role involves overseeing two legal entities, ensuring accurate financial reporting, and supporting strategic business development.,

  • Form and lead the financial organization in the UK for our 3 locations: Manchester, Birmingham, Glasgow
  • Manage financial operations for AMC UK and Architectural Steel Limited.
  • Oversee actuals, forecasts, and budget processes with local management.
  • Coordinate tax-related matters with outsourcing partners.
  • Act as a financial business partner to local site/business managers.
  • Manage and develop a finance team.
  • Implement and maintain a robust internal control framework.
  • Ensure compliance with UK legal requirements.
  • Continuously improve cash management and credit risk processes.
  • Report on Capex, costs, and profitability per business/site.
  • Implement a new accounting software.
  • Coordinate internal and external audits.
  • Deliverables & Performance KPIs:
  • Timely financial closing (internal and group deadlines).
  • Clean audit opinions.

    Education: University degree in accounting, finance, applied economics, business, or engineering.
  • Experience: 6-15 years in finance, preferably in a complex industry and/or audit firm.
  • IT Skills: Advanced proficiency in BPM and experience with accounting software implementation.
  • Language Skills: Proficient in English - Native or C2 level.
