Full Job Description

Here at Jensten we are looking to recruit an experienced Finance professional to join our professional, adaptable and knowledgeable FP&A team.

Reporting to the Director of FP&A, you will be accountable for delivering commercially focussed financial insight and supporting financial performance management by working closely with your key business area's stakeholders as well as the Jensten Executive team.

You will be based from home 4 days a week and 1 day in our London office, to work with your team.

Some key objectives & responsibilities will include:

  • Work with the business to develop and track performance against the Financial Plan/Forecast (financial modelling, setting up processes, creating timetables).

  • Work with the business to understand what key levers are required to achieve their goals and develop KPIs to track and measure performance.

  • Work closely with the Mergers & Acquisitions team to ensure the delivery of financial synergies and identify any further synergies (if applicable).

  • Create analysis, highlighting risks and opportunities to Business performance and develop recommendations to mitigate, correct or deliver as appropriate.

  • As part of any new initiatives develop and embed business case tracking.

  • Accountable with the business for sound commercial and financial decision making

  • Complete ad hoc projects when requested e.g. scenario modelling

    To be successful in this role, you will need to demonstrate previous experience working in a similar role and experience, have the ability to work at pace, and enjoy data modelling., Hold AAT, ACA, CIMA or ACCA qualification or hold a finance related degree

  • A collaborative and innovative approach to working

  • Ability and confidence to work independently

  • Act with integrity at all times when working with stakeholders

  • Highly numerate, analytical, with the ability to work to demanding and tight timescales

  • Good communication skills, both verbal and written

  • Strong/advance Excel skill

  • Be able to adapt your style, think on your feet and have a can-do mentality to solving problems
