This Senior Manager role has been purposely created to compliment our existing Financial Reporting & Accounting Team, ensuring we can continue to service our Leadership Team seamlessly as we grow. You will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of financial reporting, accounting operations, and consolidation activities enabling you to accurately interpret data and be a credible voice in Senior Leadership and Stakeholder meetings. You will be pinnacle in providing valuable insights supporting our business leaders make the right investment decisions and track the performance of investments.

A look into the role

As a Senior Manager within our Financial Reporting & Accounting team, you will:

· You will be working in an international organisation so experience of managing monthly and annual timetables across multi jurisdictions ensuring smooth, timely and seamless delivery is important.

· You will be leading the financial reporting and consolidation processes, including external reporting and maintaining strong relationships with external auditors.

· You will be confident presenting to Senior Leadership and Stakeholders. You will be expected to deliver summarised key financial information and translate complex Financial Reporting Standards with the audience in mind. Being comfortable to provide challenge at this level is key.

· You will have a detailed knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards and experience of M&A accounting and will keep yourself up to date and knowledgeable to proactively deliver future changes.

· As our international footprint expands continuous improvement will be vital, so a track record of working in a high-performance culture, where the use of digital solutions and challenging the status quo is second nature and will be expected.

Knowing you're right for us

Joining us as a Financial Reporting & Accounting Senior Manager, the minimum criteria you'll need is a professional qualification (ACA, ICAS, CA, ACCA or CIPFA) with extensive post qualification experience, and to be confident engaging with Senior Business Leaders (both written and orally). It would be great if you had some of the following skills, but don't worry if you don't tick every box, we'll help you develop along the way.

· Excellent knowledge of international accounting standards (IFRS) and LLP SORP would be beneficial

· Experience of working in an organisation with an international presence and an agile structure

· Experience of delivering operational success through continuous improvement

· Experience of effectively managing and developing a team of accountants, fostering a culture of collaboration and growth

· Experience of presenting at board level and confident presentation skills
