Full Job Description

We're recruiting for a Financial Risk and Governance Analyst who will be supporting a highly analytical, risk and governance-led function.

You'll be building and maintaining our Risk and Governance reporting process and will be accountable for tracking our ECO risk position. You'll work closely with compliance analysts, reporting analysts, the risk and reporting manager and the finance team.

This role will sit underneath our ECO Risk and Reporting Manager. This role can be based from our Sutton or Aylesbury office. Hybrid role.

What you'll be doing:

  • Monitoring and Reporting: Updating and maintaining Risk Register, tracking resolution progress and compiling updates for energy supplier partners.

  • Business partnering: Work closely with Finance organise accounting of any re-scores, rejections or other changes.

  • Technical resolution: Support Reporting Analysts to ensure supplier queries are resolved in a timely manner.

  • Stakeholder engagement: Work closely with the Risk and Reporting Manager and Finance to provide internal stakeholders with updates on financial risk position.

  • Regulations and policy interpretation: keep abreast of all relevant Government and Regulator guidance, policy proposals and legislation

  • Any other reasonable duties commensurate with the post, which may be allocated from time to time.

  • Health & Safety: all employees are responsible for their own health and safety and must adhere to the company's HSE guidelines.

    Knowledge and experience of the Energy Company Obligation (ECO) including scheme rules and compliance requirements.

  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.

  • Excellent reporting/presenting ability.

  • Ability to maintain highest level of confidentiality

  • Critical thinking and problem solving skills


  • Desirable:
  • Knowledge of other grant-funded retrofit and energy efficiency programmes; Green Homes Grant LAD, Home Upgrade Grant and Warm Homes Fund

  • Data analysis skills including advanced used of MS Excel

  • Experience of designing and delivering large scale consumer programmes.
