Full Job Description
We are looking for a motivated Financial Systems Service Desk Supervisor to lead our team in providing first-line support for financial systems across the University. In this key customer-facing role, you will oversee the Service Desk's operations, ensure efficient incident management, and drive high-quality customer service.,
- Lead and supervise the Service Desk team, ensuring timely and effective resolution of issues.
- Manage incident capture, triage, and prioritisation, improving response times and tracking service performance.
- Act as a first point of contact for financial system users, providing expert guidance and support.
- Collaborate with external service providers to resolve complex issues quickly.
- Monitor and report on Service Desk performance, suggesting improvements to processes.
- Foster a culture of excellent customer service and continuous improvement.
Previous experience in a service desk or similar support role. - Strong communication skills and a technical mindset for problem-solving.
- Experience in leading or managing a team, with a focus on customer service.
- Knowledge of financial systems is advantageous.
