Full Job Description

The Administration Support Officer (ASO) is a newly established position within FIOC UK.

Working in a small team alongside the Unit Warrant Officer, the ASO is responsible for the coordination and delivery of a range of administrative tasks. The role directly supports over 60 Royal Navy personnel and is a critical enabler for the delivery of a diverse range of operational outputs.The core tasks of the ASO will include:

Coordinate FIOC UK workforce travel requirements, including budgetary approval requests, costings, booking and database accountability.
Conduct record management using MOD administrative tools and systems to maintain Unit compliance.
Manage the Unit workforce list, which details the arrival and departure schedule of FIOC UK personnel.
Act as Training proficiency coordinator and course booking agent.
Maintain and update workforce terms of reference and job specifications.

Full training and mentorship will be provided to ensure you are best able to perform the role. As a new role, this provides an exciting opportunity for the incumbent to work with others in FIOC UK and wider MOD Collaborators to establish this new post and provide best support to global operations.
