Full Job Description

The purpose of this role is to provide maintenance and servicing of life safety equipment, emergency light and smoke vent systems, in accordance with all current British & European standards, in accordance with BS5839 standards.
General Duties/Key Responsibilities:
+ Provide day to day planned and reactive maintenance of contracts.
+ Respond to emergency call-outs.
+ Carry out remedial works & asset verification as required.
+ Install replacement/additional equipment.
+ Take part in the on-call rota.
+ Conduct site surveys as required.
+ Training of apprentices.
+ To act in a professional and diligent manor, considering the need of the clients.
+ Servicing and maintenance of emergency lighting systems., This is an operational site-based position that involves collaborating closely with the support service team. While also engaging with our clients. Expect a dynamic and fast paced work setting that combines on site work with on-going communication with office-based colleagues. The role necessitates proactive interaction and liaison with clients/customers, to ensure effective communication and first-class customer service.

+ 2 years' industry experience.
+ FIA units (1,3,5)
+ Knowledge of the British Standards BS 5839 & BS 5266.
+ Attention to detail.
+ Able to communicate on all levels.
+ Ability to work to tight deadlines and schedules.
Skills and experience desirable:
+ Working knowledge of the following fire alarm panels -
o Advanced, Kentec ,Haes, Fike, Morley and various other conventional panels.
o Fault finding experience.
