Full Job Description
The compartmentation and retro-compartmentation sector is one of the most significant challenges in the built environment, and our are well-positioned to meet this demand. We are seeking a skilled professional to lead compartmentation services, working across the surveying, compliance, and technical teams.,
- Fire Risk Assessments: Review and propose solutions to remediate non-compliant areas.
- Compartmentation Surveys: Identify deficiencies in compartmentation within multi-occupied residential and commercial buildings.
- Client Reporting: Produce detailed findings and recommendations, advising on the best remediation strategies for identified issues.
- Collaboration: Work closely with surveyors, project managers, architects, fire engineers, and other stakeholders to implement and oversee fire safety remediation projects.
- Compliance: Ensure that all remediation work adheres to current British fire safety regulations and standards.
- Mentorship: Provide guidance to team members to ensure they are proficient in fire compartmentation strategies and compliance.
- Stakeholder Communication: Maintain effective written and oral communication with all relevant stakeholders. Required Knowledge:
- In-depth understanding of compartmentation and passive fire protection solutions.
- Familiarity with the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order (RRFSO), Building Safety Act, and Building Regulations.
- Expertise in construction methods, fire safety materials, product standards, and industry regulations.
