Full Job Description

Successful candidates will be responsible for conducting fire safety audits in relevant premises across Warwickshire, to ensure that responsible persons comply with their obligations under the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005. This includes producing letters and formal notices to inform the responsible person of the outcome as well as provide feedback, guidance, and instruction.

To be successful, you must have the level of experience and qualifications necessary to be deemed a competent Fire Safety Inspector. This should include, as a minimum, the Level 4 Diploma in Fire Safety (Fire Inspectors) or equivalent qualification.

You will also have experience in producing letters and written reports to a high standard, as well as proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office applications such as Word and Outlook.

A current full driving licence and the ability to travel are essential.

Additional fire safety training will be provided as part of the role's continuous professional development., The Fluency Duty is outlined in the Code of Practice on the English language requirements for public sector workers. The Fluency Duty for this role is Required. You must be able to speak and provide advice in accurate spoken English to the public.
