Full Job Description

We are looking for experienced senior clinicians that can work across integrated services, such as MSK, Rheumatology and Pain Services, which may also include FCP clinics for Physiotherapists in line with the Directed Enhanced Service [DES] funding. You will manage a diverse caseload making decisions about the best course of action for patients' care, through consideration of differential diagnoses, whilst supporting patients to set their own goals and be confident in their approach to self-manage with Shared Decision Making [SDM] at the heart of every consultation., Assess patients, without prior contact with their GP, in order to establish a rapid and accurate diagnosis and management plan either virtually and/or face to face -Deliver effective rehabilitation and activity plans and programs face to face and virtually -Progress and request investigations to facilitate diagnosis and potential next steps -Understanding the information limitations derived from investigations and the relative sensitivity and specificity of particular tests [e.g. x-rays, blood test, MRI etc....] -Ability to interpret results from investigations, apply context to the patient and act on results as an autonomous practitioner or in conjunction with appropriate discussion with the wider MDT -Offers a range of clinical skills which may

  • include Non-Medical Prescribing [NMP] & injections
