Contract Type: Permanent (Full-Time) Shift patterns: Monday - Friday - Day shift Location: Heathrow Airport PLEASE NOTE: The role is based within an airport. We're seeking a First Line Manager to play an integral role in our aviation contract, delivering a first-class service and achieving fantastic results. The First Line Manager will be responsible for the control and delivery of the day to day operational requirements for the BA Cabin Cleaning operation in Base, reporting directly to the Airside Shift Managers. Whilst on shift, this role will be responsible for all Base elements of the operation including providing a right first time approach to aircraft cleaning. Whilst on shift, this role will be responsible for all airside elements of the operation including the correct deployment of resource to meet the flight schedule, providing a right first time approach to aircraft cleaning. Central to this role will be the use of Inform to ensure the requirements of the operation are met and teams are used to the best effect. The role will directly manage Cabin Quality Supervisors/Team Leaders and will ensure the correct management of teams in relation to HR processes (RTWs, absence, performance management, etc...) as well as health & safety practices and contractual KPIs, most notably cleaning quality and delays. This role will also be in responsible for the airside stores, airside & base high lift operation and deployment of GSE. Central to this role will be to ensure operational requirements are met and teams are used to the best effect. The First Line Manger will be responsible for building strong working relationships with Key stakeholders (engineering, tow teams, etc) to ensure there is maximum productivity from all colleagues WHAT DOES THE ROLE ENTAIL?

  • Manage the day to day allocation and deployment of cleaning teams utilising the Inform system - Real time
  • Set clear priorities for the Cabin Quality Supervisors and ensure the correct skill is deployed within the operation with the correct cleaning equipment
  • Take responsibility for operational performance during the shift, i.e. delays and quality.
  • Ensure shift briefs are delivered for all cleaning teams and operational priorities are communicated effectively
