First Line Manager - Warehouse

DHL, award winning leading supply chain business is seeking a Warehouse First Line Manager to play a vital role coordinating our daily logistics requirements. To succeed in this role, you should have a comprehensive knowledge of supply chain supervisory practices and a demonstrative understanding of warehouse procedures, including storing goods and dispatching orders.

WHAT DOES THE ROLE ENTAIL?

• To directly assist Management by reporting on and monitoring the effectiveness of all warehousing activities and performance in your designated area


• To supervise, implement and coordinate productivity by communicating job expectations to direct line reports, ensuring that all deadlines are safely met within allocated time frames, always maintaining standards of excellence


• Ensuring compliance to Standard Operating Procedures in Ecommerce, whilst ensuring that customer KPI's and SLA's are met


• Contribute to continuous site improvement agenda
  
  Previous experience as a People Manager or Team Leader within a warehouse environment


• Ability to communicate and engage colleagues and stakeholders at various levels


• Computer literate with experience using a Warehouse Management System


• Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to supervise, organise and train direct reports
