Fitness Manager

To deliver those services takes an enthusiastic and customer focused team - and right now we are looking to recruit for Fitness Manager to join our team. As Fitness Manager, you will lead from the front, ensuring the team are up to date with the latest developments within the fitness industry and the team delivers an exceptional gym floor experience for our members. You will also be responsible for managing a group exercise budget. As part of your role, you'll be expected to manage the day to day running of the facility. You will be a keyholder and responsible for shift management. You will lead on the Health & Fitness element of the club, ensuring great customer care, management of the gym instructor team and gym floor, ensuring a smooth group exercise timetable is fulfilled.

• Experience working as a Fitness Manager, Duty Manager, or similar management role within the leisure industry.
• Proven experience delivering great customer service.
• Knowledge of cash management procedures
• Strong team management, organisational and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with facilities maintenance.
• Availability to work shifts including weekends.
• Ability to Swim and to be able Pass a National Pool Lifeguarding Qualification (Essential)
• Level 2 Gym Instructor (Essential)
• Level 3 Personal Trainer (Preferable), Google Chrome is the preferred browser to access Serco careers website
