Full Job Description

As the LMNS Programme Manager you will lead the delivery of locally and nationally agreed objectives to support the high quality delivery and ongoing transformation of maternity services across the system. You will manage the LMNS delivery team and work closely alongside the Safety and Governance leads to ensure delivery of the entirety of the LMNS work programme., The Programme Manager will be a key to providing effective systems leadership across the partnership, bringing together partners from local maternity units, community and mental health services, primary care, as well as many other key local and national stakeholders. The LMNS Programme Manager will hold responsibility for assurance at a local and national level and will be expected to provide regular reporting to various local and regional networks and boards.,

  • Providing the LMNS high quality and effective management and leadership expertise, including support planning, risk management, and reporting functions
  • Liaising with teams across the LMNS, provider trusts and other stakeholders to collate data, provide support and lead meetings
  • Applying strong analytical skills, analysing complex issues where material is drawn from multiple sources, might be incomplete or conflicting
  • Preparing and producing concise and insightful communications, including drafting briefing papers and correspondence
  • Being the main point of contact and conduit between the LMNS and relevant policy and support teams in NHS England, and other national
  • Providing a link with NHS England, compiling monthly highlight reports for SRO sign-off and timely submission to NHS England for consideration by the Regional Maternity Transformation Board
  • Champion the LMNS at a senior level, including seeking buy-in and funding from stakeholders
  • Establish and oversee effective governance arrangements for the programme and its associated projects
  • Working collaboratively with partners to develop transformation initiatives that will support families, communities and the workforce to improve outcomes
  • Building and maintaining effective relationships with counterparts in the other LMNS, to support cohesive programme management
