Full Job Description

To support National Account Manager in managing a small portfolio of key fleet accounts, maintaining both external client relationships alongside internal operational relationships .Achieving and aspiring to exceed sales revenue and margin, both from existing client base and from new opportunities.,

  • Support the NAM in the delivery of the required revenue and margin growth as per the financial year forecasts
  • Maintain and develop relationships with peer contacts in portfolio of key HAC fleet accounts
  • As required be a subject matter expert for all items related to fleet for operational colleagues
  • Proactively visit operational HAC sites to understand site challenges and opportunities in driving additional revenue
  • Develop annual business plan in conjunction with NAM, which details activities to follow during the fiscal year, which will focus on meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Manage credit and debtors where required within the portfolio.
  • Manage and monitor to a satisfactory conclusion all customer service issues within agreed time scales
  • Actively participate in exchange of best practice with colleagues
  • Adheres to all company policies, procedures and business ethics codes
  • Work within the spirit of Halfords values

    Experience in national account / relationship management environment ideally within automotive
  • Capable of forming strong relationship with NAM in order to deliver plans for the customer
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to develop strong relationships with internal stakeholders whilst displaying Halfords values
  • Understanding of fleet sector
  • Extensive experience in all aspects of Customer Relationship Management
  • Strong understanding of customer and market dynamics and requirements
  • Willingness to travel
  • Ability to over - achieve against sales and margin KPI's
  • Scale and territory indicators: Portfolio of circa 10-20 key accounts
