Fleet Coordinator

Worcester based with a balance of home and office working

£23,270 per year (pro rata)

35 hours per week

Temporary position for up to 9 - 12 months

We have an opportunity for a Fleet Coordinator to join our Fleet team based in Worcester. The team of 5 deal with the day to day tasks to ensure Sanctuary's fleet of vehicles remain on the road. The role will include a range of tasks from general administration to specific tasks relating to keeping vehicles on the road such as approving drivers, hiring vehicles for business use and updating the fleet management system to log a record of all vehicle operational information. The ideal candidate will have experience in supporting a fleet department but this is not essential as a great general administrator could be trained for the role.

The role of Fleet Coordinator will include:

-Ordering vehicles and hire vehicles, chasing updates and booking deliveries
-Maintaining all fleet data using the Groups fleet management system
-Carrying out administrative tasks for circa 3,000 drivers, ensuring compliance at all times
-Building strong working relationships with customers by helping to resolve fleet queries in a timely fashion, providing excellent customer service at all times
-Helping to improve processes and procedures to achieve greater efficiency within the team.
-Inputting and maintaining accurate employee and fleet records concerning relevant documentation and licence requirements

Skills and experiences:

-Recent experience of undertaking a similar role within a transport/busy operational environment is desirable but not essential
-Good verbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels
-Working knowledge of current fleet legislation and documentation requirements would be an advantage
-Well organised with the ability to prioritise tasks as required
-Attention to detail is key for this role as is the accuracy of information supplied
-A positive and flexible attitude to work being reliable and punctual
-Working knowledge of Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, Outlook and Teams
