Full Job Description

You will have specific responsibility for statistical performance monitoring and reporting on the Councils drivers and fleet including both white & grey fleets i.e. all who drive on behalf of the council.

Working with Fleet management team to manage fleet utilisation and driver behaviour to support the Councils Zero Carbon Commitment and Fleet Decarbonisation.

Carry out remote office based internal audit procedures across all Council Service areas to ensure compliance with the Councils Operators Licence requirements and policy, ensuring all relevant records are complete and up to date.

What I might be doing?

Monitor Fleet & Driver performance and behaviour across all Council service areas, producing structure dashboard style reporting from the Fleet Management, Statutory Online and Telematics systems.

Produce comprehensive statistical reports for Driver & Fleet Corporate Performance Indicators: Fleet, Taxi & Private Hire, Fleet Compliance, Workshop Workload, Fuel, Carbon, Emissions, Passenger Services. Maintaining the Councils Service Plan and Directorate KPI's and benchmarking e.g. APSE Performance reports.

Educated to NVQ level 3 or equivalent relevant experience. ECDL / IBT2 / CLAIT Certificate or equivalent. Data Protection Training

Microsoft Excel advanced or willingness to train. Operator Licence Awareness Training - OLAT or equivalent or willingness to train.

Driving Licence Cat B

Knowledge of the Goods Vehicle Operators Licencing. Must be able to use PC based driver's hour's analysis equipment or willing to train. Proven experience of producing complex financial analysis and reports. Experience of financial systems, purchasing processes and invoice management
