Full Job Description

  • Maintain all company fleet vehicles to relevant standards including minimum MOT standards where applicable
  • Attend fleet vehicle breakdowns as appropriate either on-site or on the public highway, completing diagnostics and subsequent repairs where necessary
  • Maintain complex vehicle hydraulic systems on a wide range of vehicles including heavy transport vehicles
  • Operate heavy transport vehicles as required during service or breakdowns
  • Carry out servicing and repairs on Passenger Carrying Vehicles

    Qualified to NVQ Level 3 or equivalent
  • Demonstrable vehicle maintenance experience
  • Experience in the maintenance of hydraulic and electrical systems
  • LGV C+E License (Advantageous)

  • The Fleet Maintenance team: The Fleet Maintenance team consists of six mechanics responsible for conducting inspections and maintenance to ensure all fleet vehicles and associated equipment comply with safety and quality standards. Their goal is to minimize downtime and support customer service level agreements effectively.
