Full Job Description
We have opportunity for dedicated Floating Support Workers to join our new service in Newport on full-time and part-time (18.5) permanent basis. This service provides support to individuals within the community and across supported accommodation sites.
It is essential that the successful candidate has a drivers licence and access to a vehicle.

You will also be responsible for the housing management of our shared accommodations sites where you will play a key part in overseeing the day-to-day operations.
Your day with consist of:
Conducting needs assessments and person centred support plans
Provide practical and emotional support to the individuals you support
Provide support around housing challenges, mental health issues, substance misuse issues and other complex needs.
Assisting with sustaining and securing suitable accommodation
Maintaining accurate and up-to-date record
Developing your networking skills by working in partnership with external agencies
Monitoring the safety of the shared accommodation sites including maintenance, Fire safety and daily checks
Previous experience in a similar role
A passion and commitment to supporting vulnerable individuals and promoting independence and wellbeing
Organisation and time-management skills
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
A non-judgmental and empathetic approach
X2 Full-time & X1 Part-time (18.5), Permanent position
Competitive salary of £23,358.00 FTE
An enhanced DBS is required for this role which we will pay for
26 days (pro rata) holiday entitlement plus Bank holidays
