Floating Teaching Assistant

We are looking to appoint an impressive Floating Teaching Assistant in our Lower School for one day a week (Friday) from November 2024 on a one year maternity cover contract

Are you a caring and supportive Teaching Assistant with experience in an Early Years Foundation setting? Would you like to build on that experience and work as a Floating Teaching Assistant between Reception and Year 2 in a positive and inspiring learning environment? Set on a private estate near Kingston, you will be close to Richmond Park and the River Thames, yet within short travelling distance into central London.

We pride ourselves on the way in which we educate and support all our boys. This role will involve you working across a range of classes, groups and years alongside the Classroom Teachers up to Year 2 one day a week on a Friday. You will be primarily involved in enhancing the learning of pupils, undertaking learning activities and supervising pupils. Additionally, you will be expected to prepare display materials and teaching aids, assist with the supervision of pupils outside of the classroom, including playgrounds, dining areas or on visits, manage pupil data and undertake other relevant duties. Outside of normal teaching hours, there will also be opportunities for you to contribute to the wrap-around care programme, helping to increase the confidence of boys and building on important life skills.

Our full-time salaries start from £28,172 per annum. Working Fridays, term time only, you will be paid from £4,340 per annum.
