Full Job Description

The Floor Manager is supporting the restaurant manager in monitoring the staff daily performance, individual personal development, Rota, and follow up on new joiner's training updates, the assistant restaurant manager is in charge of the service update and tests on continu. Reporting directly to the RM, AGM and GM the restaurant manager always looks for ways to improve the knowledge and performance of each individual as well as guest's satisfaction on a daily basis. During service the Restaurant manager is overlooking several sections of the restaurant and in the absence of the AGM and RM will be acting MOD. DAILY R E S P O N S I B I L I T I E S :

  • Check previous day reports
  • Daily restaurant walk around
  • If complaints follow up and report to GM
  • Ensure the grooming standards are respected
  • Team attendance and update
  • Daily training and knowledge check
  • Conduct the daily briefing in a timely manner
  • Assist the desk with customer's seating
  • Follow up on service updates
  • Conduct service
  • Control of the restaurant cleanliness and maintenance log update
  • Control general mise en place and look of the restaurant
  • Write daily report
  • WEEKLY R E S P O N S I B I L I T I E S :
  • Check report of stock levesl for Linen, crockery, cutlery, collaterals and liaise with office coordinator
  • Training follow up
  • Update Micros if needed
  • Update and prepare managers meeting with RM/AGM and GM
  • MONTHLY R E S P O N S I B I L I T I E S :
  • Create and follow up tests for FOH knowledge
  • Update training packs and continu
  • Cash tips report to be sent to Management
  • Full team performance and training update to be send to GM
