The salary scale above has been agreed as part of the NHS Agenda for Change pay award for 2024/2025 and will be implemented in November 2024 backdated to 1st April 2024 where applicable., Flying Start Health Visitor Vacancy 37.5 hours - Flintshire area Band 6 permanent contract.
The Health Board offers an Induction Course and ongoing Clinical Supervision and support from its Safeguarding Children Team and opportunities for in house training., Betsi Cadwaladr University Health Board has an opportunity for an enthusiastic and innovative Health Visitor to join our Flying Start Health Visiting Service in the Flintshire area, North Wales. We are looking for a self-motivated team player who has excellent communication, organisational and interpersonal skills. To work with a multi-agency Flying Start team to achieve the Welsh Assembly Government initiative scheme, targeting Communities in need to provide enhanced local services within a multi-agency setting.
The post holder will manage a defined caseload in addition to facilitating group and community work that aims to address Health inequalities in partnership with the wider multi-skilled team. They will undertake assessment of needs, planning, implementing and evaluating the programme of care offered to families and individuals.
Candidates must hold a degree or equivalent in Health Visiting (or on a current SCPHN Health Visiting course) with current NMC registration and nurse prescribing qualification. Experience is preferable but may be newly qualified.
