About the Team We are looking for a FMCG Category Manager to join us on a 2 year fixed term contract. This exciting opening will support the team by driving the FMCG strategy, working with strategically important brands, and sellers. This role reports into the Home and Garden and FMCG Category Lead and you will work alongside another category manger. Responsibilities

  • Lead, and develop the relationship with key FMCG manufacturers and their resellers to deliver the FMCG category strategy
  • Create, negotiate, and deliver, annual contracts to improve eBay shoppers' experience and grow GMV in FMCG
  • Coordinate the FMCG brands, and their resellers, to deliver a trade plan, optimising events and daily deals
  • Collaborate with other categories to drive further engagement and increase the visibility of FMCG in eBay
  • Monitor and analyse performance against agreed KPI's, and present the takeaways and opportunities both internally and externally to accelerate growth
  • Build category and market expertise to identify and exploit opportunities for eBay
  • Requirements
  • Previously worked within the online or retail environment, preferably with experience within FMCG
  • Comfortable communicating internally and externally
  • Able to work tactically to drive & respond to business performance
  • General proficiency with tools, systems, and procedures required to accomplish the job, especially Excel and PowerPoint
  • Comfortable working with data to make business decisions
