Food & Beverage Assistant

The roles are at our campus, covering lunchtime service during the week, although evening and weekend work is occasionally required through term time and will be required throughout summer. As a Food & Beverage Assistant you will be required to ensure that the day to day running of the catering operation is smooth and that customers are provided with a high standard of service at all times. Your responsibilities will include taking customer orders, serving food and drink, working on the tills, stocking food stations and assisting with cleaning and clearing tables and catering areas. Salary Starting from £21,543 Appointments at Grade 2 will receive an additional pensionable supplement to ensure a minimum hourly pay equivalent to £12.00 in line with Voluntary Living Wage., If you are a student at University of Bath, please consider our casual, hourly paid roles, which can be more flexible around your study commitments than our permanent roles. The successful candidate will have experience of providing an excellent standard of customer service in a customer focussed environment. Previous experience of working in the Hospitality industry would be an advantage. You should be a good team worker and be able to be calm and professional in high pressure situations, as it can be extremely busy during peak times.
