Food and Beverage Assistant Manager at Milton Hill House Are you passionate about the world of culinary delights and exceptional service? At Milton Hill House, we are a stylish hotel, conference, event and wedding venue committed to delivering exceptional service and unforgettable experiences. Nestled in Abingdon and surrounded by 22 acres of tranquil parkland our hotel boasts stunning views making us a preferred choice for conferences, weddings, corporate events, and more. With over 20 meeting rooms and 114 bedrooms, Restaurant and Bar, we also have a fantastic onsite leisure club. We are part of "The Venues Collection", a grouping of five easily accessible event spaces.,
- Collaborate with the Food and Beverage Manager to ensure smooth daily operations
- Supervise, train, and motivate our talented team of servers, bartenders, and kitchen staff
- Maintain high standards of food quality, presentation, and service
- Handle guest inquiries, resolve issues, and ensure guest satisfaction
- Manage inventory, order supplies, and control costs
- Assist in developing and implementing new menus and promotions
- Uphold health and safety standards to ensure a safe dining environment
- Contribute to financial success through budget management and revenue generation
Proven experience in food and beverage supervision or a related role - Exceptional leadership and communication skills
- Strong attention to detail and organisational abilities
- A passion for delivering outstanding guest experiences
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and industry trends
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
