Full Job Description

Reporting to the Restaurant Manager or Breakfast Manager, you will be based at the hotel on an hourly basis up to 40 hours per week. These shifts will predominantly cover breakfast and lunch times however you may be required to work in other areas of the hotel Restaurant or Meeting outlets on an ad hoc basis.

You can expect your working day to include the following;

  • We're all about the 5service! Take ownership for your team as part of the guest journey, ensuring an immediate heartfelt welcome and maximising to make a memorable guest experience within the hotel.

  • To converse with the guests from the heart, being attentive and reactive to requests, taking and delivering food orders and anticipating their needs.

  • Training and supervising employees to ensure that they are performing their jobs correctly

  • Monitoring employee productivity and prioritising service levels to ensure that goals are being met

  • Provision of regular team member feedback inclusive of service requirements, reward, recognition and identifying training needs.

  • Driving standards through passion for our brand, the industry and exuding professionalism and pride in your role

  • Close liaison with management to cascade company vision and goals.

  • Working across all areas and shifts within food and beverage, inclusive of Breakfast, Afternoon Tea, Lunch and Dinner service.

  • Overseeing inventory of food and beverage supplies, ordering new items as needed

  • Maintaining sanitation standards on the premises by monitoring employee compliance with company policies regarding cleanliness and health and safety requirements

  • Interviewing, hiring, and training new employees as needed

  • Establishing budgets for food, labour costs, and other expenses related to running the business

  • Providing customer service by answering questions about menu items or suggesting items based on customer preferences
