Food Service Assistant

As a Catering Supervisor at Sodexo in Kiwi Bulford Barracks, Wiltshire, SP49JE You'll supervise the catering team closely, You'll interact with your team and our clients daily, and you'll be improving the quality of life in everyone you meet! without you.. we cant run our kitchens efficiently. What you'll do:

• Ensure completion of all requested/contracted tasks and motivate your team to effectively ensure these are completed in a timely and thorough manner.
• Oversee all areas of the kitchen/catering department, ensuring areas are kept clean and hygienic.
• Oversee the ordering of stock and consumables, also keeping up to date accounts and support the higher management with end of month financing
• Motivate your team, ensuring they are all providing great customer service, understand Sodexo's core values and implementing them into their everyday work
• Be a champion of health and safety practices - spot a near miss? Report it to keep your colleagues safe!
• Ensure regular safety walks are completed, to pick up any hazards.
• Frequent feedback sessions with your team, to ensure they are confident and happy in their roles.
  
  Previous experience in a similar role, with knowledge of catering/allergens/basic cooking skills, as well as some team leading experience.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Can work at a fast pace and adapt to change when needed
• Excellent communication
• Be a team player and take instruction

• Early's 0630-1430
• Lates 1130-1930
• £11.44 per hour
