Full Job Description

As Food Service Assistant for Sodexo at Yarm School, Yarm, Stockton On Tees TS15 9EJ, you will be contributing towards the smooth running of a fast-paced food and beverage operation. You will be responsible for showcasing what the kitchen supplies, presenting it in the most eye-catching way possible, ensuring we are offering the best service possible.   • Assist with set up and service of hot and/or cold meals from steamtables and countertops.
  • Clean and wash dishes, cutlery, and crockery in the dishwasher area.
  • Maintain cleanliness in the kitchen and dining room areas, ensuring all surfaces are wiped down and sanitised.
  • Replenish supplies of crockery and cutlery as needed throughout meal services.
  • Conduct thorough cleaning tasks at the end of each day to prepare for the following day's operations.
  • Follow health and safety guidelines to ensure a safe working environment for all.
