Full Job Description

  • Required to be flexible according to business requirements. The daily focus may vary, however it is expected that activities will typically include the following:

  • Assist in preparation of and serving food & beverages to customer

  • Ensure work areas and equipment are kept clean and tidy

  • Maintain food hygiene, service & presentation to standard

  • Assisting in effective management of stock & portion control

  • Handling cash & operating till

  • Ensuring health & safety regulations are followed.

  • Completing any administration as requested including food temperatures, wastage & cleaning schedules

    Previous experience working in a food service environment

  • Friendly, polite and motivated

  • Great customer service skills

  • A DBS check is required

    We are currently recruiting for a Food Service Assistant to be a part of our team at University of Hertfordshire, College Lane Campus, Hatfield, AL10 9AB,
  • £11.44 per hour

  • Full time - 35 hours per week, Typically Monday - Friday with occasional weekends

  • Shifts range between 7am - 5pm
