Full Job Description
Grade 6, Spinal Point 9-15, Term Time Only, starting at £7,023 per annum. 12 hours per week. (Pending Pay Review) Codsall Community High School are looking to appoint a Football Coach to join the school's Football Academy. You will be expected to coach and prepare your team for weekly matches, delivering a technical, tactical and fitness-based programme to students aged 16-19 yrs. Football Academy students follow the BTEC National Diploma in Sport. The two-year course for 16-19 year olds is followed in sixth form and provides students with the opportunity to study for a nationally recognised qualification and to train with the Football Academy squad every day. The hours are expected to be:11:15am to 13:15pm on Monday, Tuesday and Friday11:15 to 17:15 on Wednesday Statement of Purpose
- Under the direction of the Head of Football Academy, to provide high quality coaching.
- To provide high quality coaching as directed by the Head of Football Academy.
- To attend events relevant to the recruitment of students to the Football Academy.
- To support the school and promote its ethos.
- To promote and safeguard the welfare of children and young persons you are responsible for or come into contact with.
Ideally you will hold a minimum of a Level 2 Coaching Certificate in Football and be willing to, or working towards a Level 3 certificate, a valid driving licence and willing to obtain a mini-bus licence, would also be an advantage.
