Footwear Photographer

We have ambitious objectives over the next decade with the team believing all targets are achievable through new product category launches in shoes and womenswear alongside the creation of paid media, CRM activity and further international growth to amplify the great product / brand assets we have already created. Reporting to our Studio Manager, you'll be responsible for creating high end images fit our brand identity. • Collaborating with other photographers in the studio to evolve the aesthetics of the imagery
• Planning images and developing creative concepts
• Communicating with the creative team to establish clear goals and adhering to style guides
• Being flexible to work at other studios and on location when needed
• Using elements like leading lines, layers, symmetry, and colour to keep the viewer's eye in the frame
• Sourcing backgrounds props and setting to achieve key styles
• Styling/placement of product and have a strong understanding of lighting to achieve any style briefed.
• Excellent photoshop skills to elevate images to meet our standard
  
  Ability to communicate effectively with other team members as is key. Being able to listen actively and respond to feedback.
• Need to be organised and have strong time management skills, able to complete tasks on time and meet deadlines.
• Have good problem solving skills and be able to work through problems as a team.
• Familiar with and able to troubleshoot the equipment and software used in the studio, such as cameras, lighting etc.
Essential Experience and Skills
• Degree in photography and/or minimum 3+ years previous experience in a studio environment.
• A strong photography portfolio that demonstrates sufficient knowledge and techniques of digital photography and lighting.
• Proven experience with digital cameras and lighting.
• Highest technical proficiency in PhotoShop (Mac), Capture Pro and networked computers.
• Good understanding of colour correction and image constraints.
• Ability to work well within a team.
• Ability to work under extreme pressure to meet creative deadlines.
• Ability to communicate clearly, accurately and confidently and build strong relationships both internally and externally.
• Detail oriented.
